Road Home

Today was our weekly bunch date for my husband and I. Generally we go into Coolidge and eat at Tag’s Cafe (which has some super happy memories for me) and that is where we went today. We have been here for about three years and have eaten there once a week for the most part. Until today I never asked the owner if she knew my family. That changed today. Come to find out her and her  husband do know my relatives who have a farm down here. To some that is boring and “who cares” information. To me that’s awesome. I have been trying to feel at home for years and as my family and close friends know I am finally home here in Florence. This area has been a part of my history for years. Visiting family when I was younger, my mother grew up around here and my Aunt Nana lived in nearby Casa Grande for years.

So what is the whole point of this entire post? Well, it’s just to say that I am HOME and this is the road that takes me there. An old road that started out as dirt back in the day, grew with the times and now those white and yellow lines guide me home to happiness that I am so blessed to have found. ❤️❤️❤️
