What habit do you need/want to breakdown?

Blog Prompt: Tell us about a habit you’d like to break. Is there any way it can play a positive role in your life?

The habit I would love to break is smoking. I’ve tried to quit so many times before and it just hasn’t been something that worked. I have tried pills, patches, gum, cold turkey — that was rough — but nothing seems to help.

To be quite honest I dont really want to quit and therein lies the problem. I know I should quit. I know that I’ll feel better, but I’ve been doing it for so long that it’s not going to be easy. Another issue is when I don’t smoke, I eat. Something has to satisfy that oral fixation (get your mind out of the gutter lol) and the eating takes the place of the smoking.

I do have the husband on board finally for trying new foods, so maybe if I start to eat healthier it will influence all the other bad habits that I have going on in my life that need to go by the wayside.

What is a habit that you need to “breakdown”? I would love to find out if any of you have successfully quit and what you did in order to do so.
