Thank you for stopping by the site. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Sayre Ambrosio (It’s a pen name/nickname/what I generally go by outside of family). I am a mother, Corrections Wife, business owner, student, currently plus-size, no-filter type of woman. I’m addicted to technology. I’m a singer, author, and advocate for the Corrections and Law Enforcement field. I also suffer from something called Misophonia which is where the title of the blog came from.

My kids of the human variety are 14 and 18-years-old and I have one adorable fur baby who is 5.

I am opinionated, passionate, big hearted and most of all uniquely me. My posts are random and about my life.  One day may be happy go lucky and the next a rant but it’s always me and always honest.  As I hope to bring awareness to the condition of Misophonia I am hoping to keep a day-to-day type post going to give a little glimpse into what it’s like to live with the disorder.

A little bit more about the name….

When I was younger my grandmother and I were talking about dreams and following said dreams. I have always loved to sing and long story short Sayre was born. It stands for:

When I decided to halt all boring and mundane aspects of my life i.e. the 9 to 5 recently I tweaked it a bit and changed the Sing to Scribe (write). I have been writing all my life, been published (1995 poetry anthology) and it truly is my passion and my dream. With the support of the most awesome man on the planet (my husband), I have decided to make it a full-time thing.

So there you have it and I hope that you find something on the page that speaks to you.
