BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD!

What a way to start out 2017. I checked on my KDP stats this morning and low and behold I sold my first e-book! It’s not a huge royalty check and it’s not going to make me rich, but it’s my first book! That small royalty feels amazing. That small royalty is what I am most proud of out of all the money I have ever earned in my 35 years on this planet.

I am truly shocked at how something so small can make you feel so amazing. I woke up with a horrendous headache this morning and just wanted to stay in bed. Then I saw that. I still have a horrendous headache but now I can’t stop smiling. It made me cry. I know that some of you are reading this going, huh, that’s not a reason to cry. I beg to differ. It’s a good cry, a happy cry, a “I finally followed my dreams and didn’t let anyone stop me” cry.

2017 is going to be a good year.
