Exhale

Blog Prompt: Tell us about a time when everything seemed to be going wrong, and then, suddenly, you knew it would be alright.

When my oldest was young and I was a single mother, it felt like nothing was going to go right. I was going to be single forever and who would want a sigle mom as a girlfriend and possibly a wife one day. Everything seemed like it was hopeless and that I should just resign myself to the fact that I was going to be single forever. I was going to be “the single” mom his parents friends snickered about. The single mom that was prepared to bust her ass to provide for her kid.

It was like that for awhile. Just the kiddo and I. My parents and grandparents were there to help of course. I cannot thank the people that supported us back then enough. Without them I don’t know where I would be honestly. I also have to thank my husband, for showing me that even if you are “the single” mom that there is someone out there that will love you and your children.

If you are in the same situation that I was in back then and you feel like giving up, don’t. The saying that there is someone out there for everyone is really true. It may take you a little bit to find them, but they are out there. I found the crazy that loves my crazy and you will too.
