The Pain is Lessoning

The pain of losing Layla is lessening, and my heart is more open to opening our home to a new fur baby. It’s a big decision. It’s one that I have to consider more in-depth than when we brought Layla home. As my parents get older and I want to spend more time up at their house visiting them, I have to consider if the fur baby we bring home is good with cats, as they have two. As of a few days ago there is a new consideration that I’m excited to share with you.

I’m a grandma of a new fur baby!

That’s right, I’m officially a grandma. Granted it’s a fur grandma, but it’s just as exciting and with my son being so young, I' have to admit that I’m glad my new grandson has four legs and fur.

We haven’t met in person yet, but we will soon. I have already told my son that I hope he’s planning on dressing him up because I already have clothes and shoes picked out.

More pictures as soon as I have a chance to get them or the kiddo sends more. Lord help my poor husband. But hey, spoiling is what grandmas do, right?
