Sayre: When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
Christian: When I realized that I could help people through the struggles academia taught me.
Sayre: How long does it take you to write a book?
Christian: 1 Year.
Sayre: Does writing energize or exhaust you?
Christian: Both!
Sayre: What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?
Christian: I only write stories I would want to read.
Sayre: Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?
Christian: From Real life events.
Sayre: When did you write your first book and how old were you?
Christian: I wrote my first book in 2021-2022 and I was 23!
Sayre: What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
Christian: Traveling, tennis, painting, & brunching.
Sayre: Do you have any suggestions to help me become a better writer? If so what are they?
Christian: Write the stories you would want to read and have intention behind them.
Sayre: What is your writing Kryptonite?
Christian: I can’t write around friends.
Sayre: What other authors are you friends with and how do they help you become a better writer?
Christian: Katherine Rothschild & Brian Booker. They helped me write more concisely.
Sayre: How did publishing your first book change your process of writing?
Christian: It didn’t. My process has remained the same. The only change was that I have been speaking and promoting my last book while writing my current book.
Sayre: What’s your favorite underappreciated novel?
Christian: Essentialism.
Sayre: Do you hide any secrets in your books that only a few people will find?
Christian: Yes, I put a few cultural jokes in for minority groups.
Sayre: What does literary success look like to you?
Christian: Helping other people through my writing.
Sayre: Do you have any events or special things coming up?
Christian: A book signing tour is currently being planned.
